Welcome to the Hacking for Wellness opening event where we will learn about the challenges we face today in Iceland with kids and the use of digital media in a context of physical and mental wellness. Several experts will be sharing new knowledge and expertise from the fields of research, psychology, design, local engagement and public services.

 

The target group for this event is anyone involved in the ecosystem of digital applications that affect youth in Iceland today: health sector, technology sector, education sector, innovation and investors, students, entrepeneurs, business developers, programmers, designers and anyone interested in the mental and physical wellness of kids in Iceland.

The purpose of this event is to gather key players from the ecosystems around mental and physical wellness of kids in Iceland with regards to digital media and products. The goal is to share knowledge, inspire and create better collaboration between technology companies, health services and the public sector.

 

Ai2ai from Finland will be also be presenting their new Pall0 device that challenges the smartphone and encourages physical and mental wellness. The hackathon “Hacking for Wellness” will follow the seminar where both developers and business innovators will be able to show their talent and creativity developing with the new Pall0 interactive device.
